The same five steps are built into every graph. Click the 0/5 counter at the top right to open the Workflow menu, mark each step as completed, or click “Show” to see which part of the interface it uses. New to the layout? See what each of the five panels does.

1Add or Import a Text
Do: Paste text into the editor, upload a PDF or a set of files, or import from YouTube, Google results, Obsidian, Evernote, and other sources.
You get: A knowledge graph: concepts are the nodes, and two concepts connect when they appear in the same paragraph.

2See the Main Topics
Do: Look at the graph with high-level ideas turned on, open Analytics › AI Insights for the summary and main topics, and generate an AI summary for each topic in Analytics › Main Topics.
You get: What the text is actually about, as a short list of named topical clusters with a summary of each, plus a research question generated from the graph.

3Reveal the Content Gaps
Do: Open Analytics › Gaps, then click AI: Question or AI: Idea to bridge the gap. Click Show Another Gap for the next one.
You get: The blind spots: pairs of topics that matter in the text but are barely connected, and questions that would connect them.

4Zoom Into the Original Text
Do: Click a node in the graph to see the statements where it appears, or click a topic in the Analytics panel to filter the statements to that topic. Then click AI: Summarize Visible.
You get: The exact passages behind a concept or a topic, and a summary of only those, so you read the text by idea, not page by page.

5Generate and Save Your Insights
Do: In AI Insights, generate ideas, assertions, challenges, and questions from your current selection. Edit the ones you like and save them to Project Notes.
You get: A list of ideas and research questions in your own words, ready for an outline, an article, a client report, or a prompt.

Go Deeper: Remove the Top Layer
Once you understand the main topics, hide them. Click the biggest nodes and then the eye icon, or use Analytics › Reveal Underlying Ideas. The graph rebuilds around what was underneath: the nuance, the peripheral topics, and the latent ideas that are easier entry points into the discourse than its obvious center.

Then run steps 2 to 5 again on the new layer:
Overview→Zoom in→Gaps→Ideas→Remove the top layer→Repeat
- Reset the view when you are done: restore the hidden nodes to get the graph back to its original shape.
- Add more data to the same graph, or build a second one and compare them to see what one has that the other is missing.
- Finish in Project Notes: ask the AI for an outline or a summary of your notes and use it for an article, a report, or a prompt.
- Share: export the graph as PNG or SVG, and export your notes and AI insights.

Run the Loop on Your Own Text
Pick one text you are working on and follow the five steps: you will see the topics inside it, the gaps between them, and the questions that would bridge them.
