This plugin can visualize connections between the [[backlinks]] (both linked and unlinked), as well as the text from your Obsidian files, folders, bookmark groups, and search results.
You will be able to:
• Reveal the main topical clusters (to have an overview of any discourse)
• Identify the key concepts (to understand the main discourse entrance points)
• Discover the gaps between topical clusters (useful for generating new ideas)
• Generate research questions to develop your ideas
• Generate summaries for selected topics or graph fragments
• Visualize both linked and unlinked [[backlinks]], entities, and concepts used in your text (customizable)
• Navigate through your Obsidian content using the graph
• Find the most relevant statement from your vault using the graph
• Use GPT-4 chat to query your content (doesn't require an OpenAI key and only if you need to)
• Export the graph and extracted data to InfraNodus or other tools for in-depth analysis
Graph View Features
The InfraNodus Obsidian plugin has several graph view features that set it apart from the other graph visualization plugins. For instance, it uses advanced 3D Force Atlas layout to cluster your ideas, so you can see recurring patterns. It also can identify the gaps in discourse structure to point your attention to the ideas you might have missed. All insights are supplemented with advanced network science metrics, which you can use to understand the structure of your knowledge.Using this plugin, you can:
1. Identify the main topics and most important ideas
Knowing the main topics helps you get an overview and understand what's missing.
2. Identify the gaps and generate new ideas using the built-in AI
Some topics are not as well connected: these are the blind spots between your ideas. Generate new ideas by bridging these gaps and use built-in AI to generate innovative research questions.
3. Analyze filtered content views: #tag search results, bookmark groups, etc.
For example, filter the documents that you want to be analyzed by a specific tag, add certain papers to a bookmark group, and run analysis on your custom sample.
4. Use network science insights to improve your thinking
Unlike other graph view plugins, InfraNodus provides and makes use of advanced network science insights about the text's structure. Your graph view transforms from a pretty visual into an interactive thinking tool that enhances your cognitive variability and promotes ecological thinking.
5. Navigate through your Obsidian vault using the graph
You can navigate across different pages using the graph or find specific statements that relate to a certain topic or concepts you choose on the graph.

Data Privacy
All your Obsidian data is kept in your vault and is not saved in your InfraNodus account. Only when you use AI to generate questions, summaries, and ideas, some data may be sent to OpenAI's GPT-4 to generate text, but according to their ToS they don't store it and don't use it for training either, so your data is kept completely private and safe. A big advantage to other AI plugins for Obsidian is that InfraNodus does not have to send all of your data to generate insights, because it focuses on the underlying graph structure, so it only sends condensed information about the part you're interested in, not your whole page's content. You can, of course, choose not to use the AI in which case you won't have to send anything to OpenAI.How to Install & Use
